Just one more month until the 3rd edition of the Cross Comix Festival in Rotterdam, my hometown, will take place. The festival focusses on the crossovers between comics, art, media and music. The line-up is truly the best so far! Joe Sacco, Typex, Wende, Joris Luyendijk and Pepijn Lanen are among the guests this year. The festival takes place on November 18, in Schouwburg Rotterdam. Note: Most of the program will be in Dutch.
I’m also partly involved, because I’ll host the Smallpress Market and I’ll join the live discussion “True… Or false?” (about my reportage on Lesbos and the first draft of my new graphic novel, about photomanipulation in the 30s.). I’ll sign my latest books as well.
