For the coming months I’ll be working as an animator and art director on a new animated film by Jan Dirk Bouw (known for his successful film “I love hooligans”). The film will be a mix of animation and live action footage. The setting is a Dutch chickenfarm, where two boys from different cultural backgrounds become friends.
This is a first background test, to discover how realistic it should be. This is the most fun part of the process, of course. The animated part, which will be about 15 – 20 minutes of handdrawn animation, is going to be a lot of work. We’ll need some very good, precise, and fast animators. We’ll work in Amsterdam, from the beginning of October till August next year. So if you’re interested, let me know!
